I am elated!!! For I am able to find the order of the finance department Mnistry of Finance GOI yesterday. This order is about the enhancement of Dearness Allowance to those Central Government Employees who are still languishing in Pre-revised Pay Scales. The DA was enhanced from the then 47% to 54% wef 01.07.2008 to 31.12.2008. In absence of this order manyteachers here in Daman did not get the benefit at the right time. However my perseveance paid out. I could find it through google search engine. One good engine at that I am sure and beleive.

Sixth Pay Commission or UGC Sclaes of Pay for teachers of my college in Daman? Not yet. The MHRD took its time to say that the UT Administration id free to do so but under consultattion with Ministry of Home!? Well now all eye and ears at MHA; Ministry of Harassment Affairs, errr..., Ministry of Home Affairs.

I shall be back with this news strings about the development as early as possible.
